Girls will be automatically placed in the correct age group based on the age they were on December 31st of the previous year. 2022 Registration fees are as follows: T-Ball: $100 Coach Pitch: $125 8U and 9U Modified Kid Pitch: $195 10U and 12U: $220 14U: $245
Games are played throughout Jefferson County. Golden’s home fields are at Lions Park so many practices and games will be there. Practices will also be held at other local fields.
For the summer season, coaches will contact players in late March at the latest as the teams are finalized.
Games are played on weekday evenings from May – July with the exception of an end of season tournament on a weekend in mid July.
The registration fee covers a jersey, practice fields, game fields and umpire fees.
Your daughter will need her own softball glove, softball pants (black), socks and shoes (cleats are recommended). Team bats and helmets are provided for the team. If you prefer your daughter not use a shared team helmet, you may purchase one on your own.
For spring/summer rec teams, practices will start in mid-April and games will begin in mid-May. The season ends in mid-July.
Fall Ball runs from end of August through early October. It is meant to be a developmental time for the girls so no standings are kept.
For the 2023 season, your daughter will be placed on a team based on her age on 12/31/2022.
Practices are scheduled once the teams are formed and are based on field availability and coaches’ availability. Practices are typically in the evenings, two (week)days a week.
